The successful developer conference TEQnation, which has been held in May in the Fabrique in Maarssen in recent years, will take a break from being a physical event for one year.

Why?

1. During the evaluation of the last edition and based on the visitor survey, we came to the following conclusion:
   TEQnation is an event for all developers: Backend, Frontend, Java, .NET, PHP, JS, etc. It is an event focused on emerging technologies, just like the predecessor of TEQnation (IoT Techday) successfully did for years. However, offering a little bit of everything might mean it’s not deep enough in certain areas. This means that while we want to highlight all the innovations and international user cases, visitors also requested more depth, live coding, and a peek under the hood at the big tech giants.

Together with the program committee, we have therefore decided to take some time and go back to the drawing board. Based on your feedback, we will return in 2026 with a new and exciting event. This could potentially focus on a specific topic or be centered around a new ecosystem.
